Volunteers, as you and your Girl Scouts jump into the new Girl Scout year, remember it's never too early to get the required training you will need to create some great outdoor memories together next Spring.
There are only 2 Cook Out/Camp Out trainings left on the calendar this fall. Cook Out/Camp Out training is required if you and your girls want to cook outdoors (think S’mores and Tacos In A Bag) or if you want to camp under the stars (think of the outdoors badges they can earn) at one of our GSHH properties. Register for:
Cook Out/Camp Out on Sunday, October 6th at Camp Addisone Boyce, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Cook Out/Camp Out on Saturday November 9th at the Betty Taubert Girl Scout House, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

Girl Fest is back! Come join us and your sister Girl Scouts for a chance to check out some of Girl Scout Heart of the Hudson program offerings for 2025. Whether you register as a troop or an individual, you will have a chance to be an explorer - trying new things and discovering new interests. Girl Scouts are creative and entrepreneurial, enjoy the outdoors, and love spending time with each other. Girl Fest offers the opportunity to investigate areas of technology, outdoor skills, crafts, community service, and much more!
This is a rain-or-shine event. Due to the incredible interest in this event, we ask that troops carpool when possible to maximize parking spaces.
GSHH is also looking for volunteers to help with stations during Girl Fest to make it a successful event. If interested in volunteering from 8am-3pm on 10/19, email Samantha Alonzo-LaPointe at slapointe@girlscoutshh.org.
