Initial Cookie Orders
|
Initial troop orders are due to Service Unit Cookie Chairs by Saturday, January 13. Please look in Digital Cookies to see that Girl Delivery Orders match Smart Cookies. Orders placed before January 9 should have been transferred into Smart Cookies, but orders placed closer to the initial order deadline might not have been included. Learn how to view these orders
Have questions or need assistance? Product Sales Director Gretchen Fuelling will have open office hours on Microsoft Teams on Saturday, January 13, from 2:00-3:00 PM CST. First Come, First Serve Cookie Booth Reservations Open Again
|
First Come, First Serve is currently open for the remaining lottery booths, and four additional locations will be added on Tuesday, January 16.

Cookie Booth Math Training for Volunteers
|
Are you a cookie volunteer with questions about planning your cookie booths? Then join us for Cookie Booth Math training! An experienced GSSI cookie volunteer will guide you through the following topics:
• Calculating varieties and quantities to bring to a cookie booth • Dividing booth cookies by hours worked • Counting cash and checks quickly • Keeping track of cash deposits

Axolotl Costume and Addy the Adventureful Bear Lotteries
|
During the week of January 22, we will host a lottery on Smart Cookies for troops to borrow the Inflatable Axolotl Costume and Addy the Adventureful Bear for use at their cookie booths. Winning troops will get to keep the axolotl costume and Addy Bear for one whole weekend during the Cookie Program.

Online Direct Ship Troop Links are Now Open!

The troop link is now open! This link can be shared like a girl link, but orders will be at the troop level and need to be divided between the girls in the troop, just like a cookie booth. How to Set Up Your Troop Link

Introducing the new Camp Koch Ranger
|
GSSI is happy to introduce our new Camp Koch ranger, James Loveless! James takes over for Ranger Frank Spangler, who retired in December after 10 years of service to Girl Scouting. Ranger James and his family are currently moving into their new home at Camp Koch and beginning to work on preparing for summer and the arrival of Girl Scout campers. Apply Now for Mini Innovation Grants from Girl Coalition of Indiana
|
Do you, or someone you know, have an innovative idea for a community event or project that has the potential to benefit girls in Indiana? Girl Coalition of Indiana (Girl Co.) is excited to announce the launch of their Mini Innovation Grants. To support and empower trailblazers, Girl Co. will offer Mini Innovation Grants of up to $1,000 for individuals (both adults and youth) to test their ideas in their communities. The next deadline is February 2, 2024.

In 2024, GSUSA is seeking 10 new members to join the Girl Scout Advisory Board to Girl Scouts of the USA. This board is a group of middle and high school Girl Scouts who make recommendations, contribute to key initiatives, and influence decision-making processes at the national office. If you are interested in this opportunity, applications are due Monday, January 15, 2024, to become GSSI's nominee(s).

GSSI's annual Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors Fall Event will be held at Holiday World on September 7. All girls in grades K-12 and their families are welcome to spend a day exploring the park and participating in special Girl Scout activities.
