Art Day at Bradbury Art Museum - Jonesboro

Girls will be led on a museum tour followed by a fun art activity to work toward art badges! Two sessions will be held on October 14. Daisies, Brownies and Juniors will work on their Art and Design badges and Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors will work on their Collage Artist badge. Spots are limited, so register today!

Ghosts and Ghouls Fall Encampment
|
|
Inviting all troops to Ghosts & Ghouls encampment, October 21-22 at Camp NOARK. Troops will practice outdoor skills like archery, bb guns, fire building, and outdoor cooking, plus Halloween crafts fun science experiments!

Equine activity is available for a $10 add-on fee. Troops can arrive on Friday evening. Meals, programming and check in starts on Saturday. Weekend registration fee includes three meals and a snack on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Saturday registration includes lunch and a snack. Register here!

Older Girl Retreat

Mark your calendars for Dec. 1-3! Seniors and Ambassadors are invited to this special retreat just for them in the Central region at Camp Mitchell! Girl Scouts will complete their Ready. Resilient. Strong. patch by learning techniques to lift their mood and manage stress and challenges. There will be plenty of crafting, outdoor activities, and time spent bonding with Girl Scouts from across the Diamonds Council! Register here!

Calling Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes and Girl Scout families! Come check out the Museum of Discovery and all it has to offer for an exclusive after hours event on December 2. The Girl Scout pop-up shop will also be available on site for your holiday shopping needs! Families are invited to attend with their Girl Scouts. There are limited adult and tagalong spots available. Venture Out Training Series
|
• Venture Out I is live and assigned to leadership in gsLearn. You are not required to take Venture Out I if you have already taken it, but a refresher is always nice. Any registered adult interested in taking Venture Out I and not able to access the training in gsLearn can email camp@girlscoutsdiamonds.org.
• Venture Out II is now hybrid. The course is available in gsLearn for anyone interested in starting the training. You must register for Venture Out II and attend an in-person class to practice skills and do a skills assessment to complete the course.
• Venture Out III Outdoor Cooking is ready council-wide! Learn how to cook five different ways! This is open for Seniors, Ambassadors and adults.
• Venture Out IV Backpacking registration is open for Nov 4-5. Train with an expert and leave the weekend ready to start your troop on outdoor adventures.
