Equine Family Days

Our equine program takes a seasonal pause during extreme cold and hot months, but this year we’re offering Family Days with our herd! Families can enjoy fun, horse-themed activities inside Friendship Lodge (kept warm or cool), with rotating groups visiting the barn.
Families and troops can also book a facility rental for an extended camp experience – perfect for those making a longer trip!

Winter Older Girl Retreat
|
Be among the first to explore the newly updated Burnham Woods campus. This weekend retreat is packed with creativity and hands-on fun as girls design and test their own games, craft a handheld mirror, and build new skills, with plenty of time to relax and connect with friends. It’s a weekend full of imagination, confidence, and creativity for Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors.

Uniform Assistance
|
|
This is the time of the membership year when many Girl Scouts are making sure they have a uniform. We don’t want cost to be a barrier for our girls. If this is something that is a concern for families in your troop, or you know of a family in another troop, please have their caregiver fill out our request form! This form cannot be filled out by the leader. Contact info@girlscoutsdiamonds.org for more details or assistance.

Troop Travel Reminder

Just a reminder: any troop trip that is overnight or more than 120 miles one way requires a Travel Application to be submitted to info@girlscoutsdiamonds.org at least 3 weeks prior to the trip.
Please note: Using the troop funds for unapproved travel or overnight trips is a violation of council policy and may result in further action. Help us ensure safe, fun, and policy-compliant adventures for your girls!

Service Unit and Troop Finance Updates
|
Troop Finance Guide
The Troop Finance Guide is now available on our website. It’s a great resource guide for Troop Leadership and Troop Treasurers on all things related to troop finance.
Bank Account and Debit Card Agreement
When a Service Unit or Troop establishes a new bank account or makes changes to an existing account, the Service Unit/Troop/Group Bank Account and Debit Card User Agreement must be completed. Email the completed form to dwolverton@girlscoutsdiamonds.org and provide a copy to your Service Unit Treasurer. This process must be completed within 30 days of opening a new account or making any changes to an existing account.
Sales Tax-Exempt form
The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration grants tax-exempt status to all affiliate groups of Girl Scouts - Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. This means that the Council, Service Units, and Troops are eligible to use the same sales tax exemption certificate.
Service Units and Troops that wish to request sales tax exemption for purchasing Girl Scout supplies in the state of Arkansas can obtain a tax-exempt form from the Sr. Troop Finance Liaison. These forms will be provided only to Service Units and Troops that are in good standing. The Council’s sales tax exemption is only for the state of Arkansas and cannot be used outside the state for sales tax exemption purposes.
Use of the tax-exempt form for purposes other than the purchase of Girl Scout supplies is against the law and subjects the perpetrator to legal consequences.
Tax-exempt forms may be requested by sending an email to info@girlscoutsdiamonds.org.

Fall Product Program
|
Service Unit Product Managers will begin receiving reward shipments in January. Most rewards will be shipped by M2 Media, with some items arriving separately from other vendors. Please make sure to check the deliveries right away against the reports in M2OS. If there are any missing or damaged items, make sure to report them to the product program team within 4 weeks of the initial delivery.
If any Girl Scouts selected Online Diamonds Dollars or Traditional Diamonds Dollars as a reward, these will be emailed directly to their caregiver.
