Don't Forget! Troop Secured Cookie Booths Must be Entered into Smart Cookies
If you have not entered an upcoming cookie booth into Smart Cookies, please do so before your booth date. This allows us to know where troops are set up, ensures locations are not double-booked, allows the booth to be found on the cookie finder webpage, and allows troops to accept credit cards through the Smart Cookies platform. If you have submitted your information and have not received an approval confirmation, contact cookies@girlscouts-gssi.org.

Lottery or First Come, First Serve Booth Cancellations
If your troop cannot use a lottery or first come, first serve booth, please contact cookies@girlscouts-gssi.org, as these can be offered to other troops. In addition, if your troop can only work one door at Walmart, we can offer the other door to other troops.

Smart Cookie Transfers from Cookie Cupboards
Cookie transfers will be entered into the system within 24-48 hours of receipt. Please check all transfers for accuracy and contact us if you find a discrepancy.
Friday Cookies
The next Council Cookie Cupboard Friday Cookies date is Friday, February 24. Orders for this date must be received by Wednesday, February 22, at 4:00 PM CST. Note: Cookies must be picked up at the council office at 5000 E Virginia St, Evansville, IN 47715, NOT at the Shetler warehouse as in previous weeks.
Council Cupboard Friday Cookie Order Form (The form does not open until Monday, February 20, at 8:00 AM CST.)

Raspberry Rally Update
Raspberry Rally had a huge surge of orders when it was turned back on for purchase on February 10. Due to this, inventory sold out before all orders were processed. ABC apologizes for this inconvenience. They cannot process partial shipments or refunds, so entire orders were cancelled and refunded to the customer’s original payment method. Refunds should be visible in the accounts within 2-3 business days. Customers received an email with this information as well. If a customer reaches out to you that their order was canceled, please let them know the other varieties are still available for purchase online (and in-person). ABC has said they will have a very limited quantity available again on March 4, beginning at midnight EST, so if you have a customer who wants this cookie, please let them know to order it as soon as it becomes available. An email will be sent to volunteers via Smart Cookies if this information changes.

Cookie Season Council Shop Hours
The GSSI retail shop will be open Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM CST, from February 6-March 3.

  • To enter, submit up to 3 photos of your booth to lalvey@girlscouts-gssi.org. (Troops can now submit more than one photo!) Please include your troop number.

blue banner with a picture of hands holding a note that says thank you
We would like to recognize the volunteers from CenterPoint Energy who spent hours at the warehouse in Evansville helping us sort, stack, and load thousands of cases during last week's cookie arrival. Many of these volunteers come back to assist each year, and they make cookie pickups quick and efficient for everyone. We appreciate all of you! Check out some of our volunteers in action on our Facebook page.

Volunteers included: Tim Appell, Mark McDonald, Richard Reich, Andy Goebel, Eric Brown, Mike Kirsch, Brian Market, Triana Hulsey, Keith Farrar, Jeff Brown, Michael Blanchard, John Davenport, Mark Welte, Jesse Bishop, Eric Paul, and Jeff Collier. Special thanks to Dan Voges for organizing these volunteers for us. (This was Dan's 8th year helping us!)

In addition, we would also like to recognize the following GSSI volunteers:
  • Jannelle James for organizing an outing for Perry County leaders to connect and have a night of fun bowling before the cookie season began.
  • Misty Mauck for organizing a "Me and My Guy Dance" for Posey County Girl Scouts being held this weekend.
  • Kelsey Hager for taking the lead on forming a new Daisy troop in Loogootee this month while also assisting with a Loogootee Brownie & Junior troop.
Introducing Stephanie Hardin, Troop Support Specialist
We are excited to introduce the newest member of the GSSI team, Stephanie Hardin! Stephanie worked in childcare for six years and recently held an administrative service role before coming to GSSI. She is originally from Evansville, and she and her husband have a four-year-old daughter. Her family loves camping, shopping, Legos, Disney, and playing outside. Stephanie says she is excited to join our team and can't wait until her daughter is old enough to become a Girl Scout!

As Stephanie transitions into her role, Jodie Cross will remain the contact for those service units she has supported over the last several months. Alyssa Miller's role has not changed.
