Barn Fest
Come join us for a fun day at Camp NOARK Saturday, April 27! Working with industry professionals and rodeo queens throughout the state, this will be a day of rodeo and fair-type activities There will be contests such as goat dressing, where participants compete on how quickly they’re able to put pajamas on a goat, and duck sorting, where kiddos on stick horses sort numbered ducks in the same way rodeos team pin cattle, and more. We’ve hired a professional photographer and will have a hair and makeup artist to dress up our cowgals for their best life glamor shots. Reining and dressage demonstrations will be held throughout the day, and there will be booths from different equine-related facilities, farm animal petting zoo, and more!

Starting at the end of January, watch our events page for more information! If you’re an out-of-towner, book your overnight reservation soon!

Welcome to the Herd!
How appropriate to have a horse named Trooper! Trooper is a 7-month-old miniature horse literally picked UP by our staff when they went to get him. He may be small in size, but he has a big job ahead of him as the Girl Scouts – Diamonds spokeshorse. We are excited to add our first miniature, as we are sure he’ll help us with our smaller participants in creating Courage, Confidence, and Character.
Tess is a sweet, estimated 15-year-old, bay mare that has been donated to Girl Scouts by a friend of our staff. She belonged to two young girls who realized horses require a lot of time and upkeep and those things can be hard to manage. They wanted her to go to a home where she would be well cared for and loved by many. , so they sent her to us! She is sweet and gentle, and well-mannered enough that she was being used in lessons in less than a month after her arrival. She is stout and strong and makes a great addition to the size variety of our herd.
