Diamonds Leadership Conference and Annual Meeting

Have you checked out the Leadership Conference and Annual Meeting, July 26-27? Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors, and volunteers are invited to Little Rock for our first council-wide conference since 2019. Meet up with your Girl Scout friends from across the council to celebrate volunteer and girl achievements, attend enriching workshops, network with volunteers and staff, and more!
With girl workshops in engineering, mental wellness, and art, and adult workshops in managing meetings, providing a fun troop experience, and handling conflict you will have plenty of opportunities to learn and explore new topics.
Friday night we celebrate our Gold and Silver Award recipients and graduating seniors in our Highest Awards Ceremony. Early check-in and some on-your-own options for Friday evening will also be available.
On Saturday morning, check-in is open 7-11 am, and the morning begins with continental breakfast and the Adult Recognitions ceremony in the ballroom. Throughout the day we will have girl and adult workshops, a booth expo and the retail shop will be open for lots of shopping! The council Annual Meeting happens during lunch.
Register now for the conference and look for workshop sign-ups via email on July 8. Cost is $60 per girl or adult by June 20; $70 from June 21-July 2. Included in your registration: Conference t-shirt (guaranteed if registered by June 20), patch, Saturday continental breakfast and sit-down lunch, access to workshops, activities, and a booth expo.
Hotel accommodations are not included in the registration cost. A limited number of hotel rooms are available at the DoubleTree (Downtown Little Rock) at group rates. Details will be sent upon registration completion.
Plan to wear your official Girl Scout uniform – our retail staff can help you with your vest, sash or insignia needs!

Troop and Service Unit Financials

* 2024 troop financials are due for any troops approved for an extension.
* 2024 service unit financials are due along with troop financials reports received and reviewed.
Note: The MY24 cycle for service unit financials is July 1, 2023-May 30, 2024

Outstanding product program debt must be paid in full to participate in the next membership year product program (2024 Fall Product and 2025 Cookies).

Troop Information Updates
|
During July, troops who update troop meeting information will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win! Please note, ALL troops should update troop meeting specifics. This ensures troop information in our system is current. Troops closed to new members and older-level troops should also provide this update.
Although leaders can update most troop meeting information via MyGS, additional troop meeting specifics are added to each troop account. Troop meeting information needs to be updated between July 1 and July 31 to be included in the drawing for troop prizes.
An email will be sent to all troops/troop leaders closer to July and will include a link to make these updates. Drawing giveaway specifics will also be included. Questions: info@girlscoutsdiamonds.org.

Meet the Mascots
|
Meet our cute mascots who bring joy and sweetness to our Fall and Cookie Programs. First, we have the charming Asian elephant that will serve as our 2024 Fall Program mascot. Next, meet the cheerful panda that will serve as our 2025 Cookie Program mascot. Both programs will share the theme “Embrace Possibility.”
