Girl Scouts Celebrate Faith

Girl Scout Week is a time when many troops celebrate the connections between Girl Scouting and their faith, learn more about other faiths, and thank faith partners for their support throughout the year. Girls can plan or join in the festivities on three specially designated dates or a day of your choosing.

Community Service Project Idea
|
|
This month is a great time to make Valentine’s Cards for your local assisted living facilities or veterans. You can set aside meeting time, host a card-making event, or craft cards while girls arrive for a troop meeting. Be sure to only sign your first name or your troop number for cards.

NEW! GSUSA Gold Award Scholarship Changes
|
GSUSA will now award one $5,000 scholarship per council!
Gold Award Girl Scouts who are high school seniors or recent high school graduates can apply for the 2024 program are eligible. Specifically:
• Current high school seniors who earned or will earn their Gold Award any time before April 1, 2024
• Recent high school graduates who earned their Gold Award in their senior year after March 31, 2023
Apply in GoGold March 15-April 17, 2024.

This hands-on festival will be full of exciting activities like slingshots, building Lego roller coasters, learning about fire safety, nature scavenger hunts, and more. All girls in kindergarten/1st grade are welcome to register and learn how fun it is to be a Daisy!

Girl Scouts will be challenged to visit a certain number of stations in order to earn their unique Amazeum Fun Patch. Come play in the exhibit hall while completing hands-on STEAM challenges!
