Cookie Delivery and What to Expect
Cookies will arrive beginning Monday, February 6! Please ensure you have communicated with your Service Unit Cookie Chair and know the date, time, and location for your troop's initial order pick-up. Please read in Cookies 101 about cookie pick-up for initial orders.

Key information to remember for cookie pick-ups:
  • Please ensure families know when and where to pick up their orders from the troop.
  • Count the cookies with the person receiving the order before they take them.
  • Remember to write receipts for all cookie and money transactions.
  • Please feel free to contact your SUCC with any questions.
NOTE: Evansville Cookie Warehouse Change
For troops picking up in Evansville, the warehouse location is at Shetler Moving & Storage, 1253 Diamond Ave, Evansville, IN 47711. This is different from past years, so please ensure your troop knows about this change. This applies to both initial orders and Friday Cookie pick-ups.

Friday Cookies

Friday Cookies is a GSSI program that allows troops to check out additional cookies for booth sales with the benefit of returning them if unsold. Friday Cookie orders may be returned only in total, unopened cases. New this year, Friday Cookies will be offered at the Council, Dubois, and Daviess Cookie Cupboards.

Raspberry Rally Temporarily Turned off in Smart Cookies
Raspberry Rallys will be turned off from the online platform until Friday, February 10. This was planned for councils with cookie programs that start later. Once it is turned back on, it will remain on for the rest of the GSSI cookie program.

Cookie Costumes
The council office and outlying county Service Unit Cookie Chairs have cookie costumes that troops can check out to wear at cookie booths. Please be courteous when reserving these costumes and returning them promptly for other troops to borrow. Please limit borrowing the costumes to two days; a return date will be confirmed upon checkout.

Cookie Season Council Shop Hours
The GSSI retail shop will be open Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM CST, from February 6-March 3.

Bling Your Booth Contest
Don’t forget to bling your booth this season! Troops can create a fun and unique cookie booth to attract more customers and show off their artistic marketing skills. The top three vote-getting troops will win a gift certificate to the council shop! (1st: $60, 2nd: $40, 3rd: $20)
  • To enter, submit one photo of your booth to lalvey@girlscouts-gssi.org. Please include your troop number.
  • Entries must be received by Thursday, March 9.
  • Voting will take place Friday, March 10-Wednesday, March 15, via an online form that will be shared on social media. Winners will be announced on Friday, March 17.
 
Join our team as an After School Program Facilitator!
After School Program Facilitators provide girls with The Girl Scout Leadership Experience by facilitating programs at schools and community organizations during the school year. This position offers a flexible weekly schedule of 1-4 days a week between 2:30-5:30 PM. This role is perfect for college students or retirees!

register now for summer camp sessions at camp koch
It may be cold outside, but we're already daydreaming of warm, sunny days at Camp Koch. We have four exciting new camp sessions for Brownies-Ambassadors*, including a family camp overnight! *Entering 2nd grade in the fall through 2023 high school graduates.

EVANSVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY
EVPL invites you to celebrate Black History Month with them this February as they look at the history of Black Americans, the advocacy led by modern Black Americans, and the central role Black Americans have played in U.S. history. They have suggested books, activities, and events for children through adults.

UNITY CONCERT PRESENTED BY THE EVANSVILLE AFRICAN AMERICAN MUSEUM

What: We are breaking the silence, learning about female scientists throughout history, and experiencing their significant scientific contributions for ourselves. Celebrate the UN International Day of Women and Girls in Science by joining local NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador, Lifetime Girl Scout, and GSSI Volunteer Mandy Scurry on a journey through time to meet six outstanding scientists and learn about their contributions through authentic, hands-on activities.
