Calling all super leaders! Get ready to power up at LEAF University 2026: Superhero YOU – Leading with Courage! LEAF University is an action-packed one-day retreat that is all about celebrating you — the everyday heroes who make the magic happen. Enjoy fun workshops designed for both new and experienced leaders, team-building adventures, and plenty of laughter along the way. Come recharge your powers, share ideas and leave inspired to lead with courage and confidence! LEAF University will take place on May 30, 2026, in Conway. Your $40 registration fee includes an event t-shirt, lunch and your choice of workshops.

Volunteer Service Hour Award
|
It’s time for troop leaders and service unit volunteers to share their volunteer hours from the 2025 calendar year (January-December)! The Presidential Volunteer Service Award has been temporarily paused at the national level, but our council is excited to honor our volunteers with our own Volunteer Service Hour Award to recognize their commitment and energy given to the Girl Scout Movement.
Certificates will be presented at the Bronze level for 100-249 hours of service, Silver level for 250-499, and the Gold level for 500+ hours.
Submit HERE for the Volunteer Service Hour Award! A fillable spreadsheet is available upon request for 10 or more submissions. Contact recognitions@girlscoutsdiamonds.org with questions or to request a spreadsheet.

Updating Troop Information
|
Troop leaders and caregivers, we hope you have enjoyed your holiday season! If you haven’t done so already, please review your troop information to make sure all is accurate, and let us know if you haven’t already done so if your troop should be closed. We want to make sure you are prepared for cookie season!
As of December 12, 2025, we instituted a freeze on transferring girls from one active troop to another. However, if you need something fixed, please let us know at info@girlscoutsdiamonds.org.

Media Communications Reminder

It's Cookie Season, which means an increase in Girl Scouts - Diamonds media presence. In the event that a media outlet reaches out to you to request an interview, please refer all media inquiries to online@girlscoutsdiamonds.org. If you are interested in participating in the requested interview, please forward the inquiry to the email above and state your interest.
Per council policy, all media segments should be coordinated and scheduled by Girl Scouts - Diamonds MarComm team.
Have a personal media contact? Great! Please help us make sure we put our best foot forward this cookie season and keep our MarComm team in the loop on any media requests you may receive or be part of.

· Ensure your Smart Cookies "troop info" is up-to-date, especially selecting your troop's reward plans and entering your troop's banking information.
· Review upcoming dates for the initial order and send a reminder to caregivers.
· Prepare for your troop booth initial order. Consider your troop's goals, historical data, and the variety mix chart in the volunteer guide
