Dear GSHCC Volunteer,
Booth season is officially here, and I wanted to take a moment to thank you for being part of it. This time of year is busy, energizing, and sometimes a little unpredictable—but it’s also one of the most meaningful parts of the Girl Scout Cookie Program, and it simply wouldn’t happen without volunteers like you.
Cookie booths are often where girls find their confidence. You can see it when they take a deep breath before greeting a customer, when they work together to solve a problem, or when they light up after a successful sale. Even in moments when they’re nervous or unsure, having a steady, encouraging adult nearby makes all the difference.
Your role is also essential in creating a safe and positive environment. By helping booths run smoothly, modeling kindness and respect, and staying aware of what’s happening around you, you give girls the space to focus on learning, growing, and having fun. Your calm presence helps ensure every booth is not only successful, but welcoming and safe for everyone involved.
What you do goes far beyond helping sell cookies. You’re offering reassurance, cheering girls on, helping them regroup after a tough moment, and celebrating their wins—big and small. Those moments matter, and they stay with girls long after the booth is packed up and the signs come down.
Thank you for giving your time, your patience, and your heart to this program. Thank you for helping kick off booth season with care, enthusiasm, and a commitment to safety. I’m excited to see our Girl Scouts out in the community this season, and I’m incredibly thankful to know they have volunteers like you standing beside them.
With thanks,

P.S. Your support makes a difference! A general information flyer and stickers are available for you to customize, print, and share during Cookie Season to help introduce new families to Girl Scouts. If you prefer printed materials, please contact Customer Care to request stickers and/or flyers.
