This year, we’re taking a thoughtful pause on traditional sleepaway camps at Camp Menzies as we focus on designing a more sustainable model for the future. We know these experiences are meaningful to many families, and this work is centered on ensuring camp remains a high-quality, long-lasting experience for years to come.
At the same time, our commitment to outdoor programming is stronger than ever. This season brings fresh opportunities to get outside, try new activities, build outdoor skills, and create unforgettable memories across our council properties and trusted partner camp locations.

Spring Break Coastal Expedition Camp

Spend Spring Break (March 30–April 2) exploring the stunning Big Sur coast—ocean air, whale watching, and coastal discovery included! This multi-day expedition blends hands-on learning about marine ecosystems with road-trip vibes, group cooking, and choosing your own activities along the way. Designed for Girl Scouts in grades 6–12, it’s an unforgettable Spring Break adventure that builds independence and creates lifelong memories.
