Yeti and Confetti Encampment | Dec. 6-7

During our Yeti and Confetti weekend, Girl Scouts will gather for a fun-packed day of art, friendship, and creativity! We have a blizzard of crafts and activities planned for Daisies through Cadettes – from ice art and Yeti creations to the Trail of the Yeti Expedition. Let your inner Yeti play in our snowy crafts, as we turn Burnham Woods into a winter wonderland of fun. Register for Saturday or the weekend.

Did you know your troop/service unit can reach out to local organizations like state parks, fire stations, Arkansas Game and Fish, or even local businesses to create unique programming for Girl Scouts? As long as the activities align with Girl Scout Safety Activity Checkpoints, you have the flexibility to collaborate with a variety of partners to offer exciting, hands-on experiences. Don’t hesitate to explore these options and bring new learning opportunities to your Girl Scouts.

Mountain Biking & More: High Adventure in the Ozarks | June 1-8
|
Do you have a Senior or Ambassador Girl Scout or have them in your troop? Let's talk about a Destinations trip that is close to home. This adventure will take place in northwest Arkansas and will be packed with fun and enriching experiences, including:
• Exploring the scenic beauty of Northwest Arkansas
• Visiting world-class museums
• A stay at the Buffalo Lodge
• Beginner mountain biking workshops
• Scenic hikes
This is a fantastic opportunity for older girls to challenge themselves, learn new skills, and create lasting memories. Scholarship funds are available that can significantly reduce the cost for participating families. To take advantage of this opportunity, apply for the trip and complete the scholarship application. Applications are due November 15, 2024.

Discover Native American History | Nov. 16 | NW
|

Participants will join WBU’s wild bird educator for a special bird and wildlife class that includes a short bird walk, digging up arrowheads, and a craft highlighting bird and animal conservation in the tepee. Museum staff will guide you on a touch-and feel tour that explores Native American wildlife and education.
