Spring Renewal
|
It's almost time for Spring Renewal to begin! Renewal begins on April 1 and those who register early for the 2026 Membership Year will receive exclusive incentives. This year we are introducing the first week rewards: April 1-10. Every girl who renews during this timeframe will receive a FREE t-shirt, a FREE pennant flag, and so much more! Girls will also receive a $10 discount on membership renewal. This is to help offset the financial impact on families due to the increase in membership cost.
Adults who renew between April 1-10 will also receive a FREE t-shirt. Lifetime members can also receive a FREE t-shirt if the lifetime member role is renewed between April 1-10. Troops that renew during this time will be entered into a drawing in June - depending on the troop renewal percentage.
Be sure you're "in the know" by logging into your myGS account, heading to “my profile,” and opting in for email and text updates at the bottom of the page.
We will be hosting a live Q&A session and registration/renewal walk-through on our Facebook page soon. Email us with questions or visit our website and try our new live chat feature. If you need a hand, we’re here for you!

Adult Recognitions
|
It’s recognition time! Take a moment to review the Adult Recognition Descriptions and nominate volunteers who go above and beyond and truly radiate the Girl Scout Promise and Law in everything that they do.
Need a refresher? Check out How to Submit a Council Award Nomination to learn more!
Endorsers should carefully reflect on those they are endorsing. We are limiting the amount of endorsements from one individual to 5 per year. Nominators may continue to nominate with no limitations. Nomination Submissions are now live.
Both the Nomination and Endorsement Forms must be received no later than April 15.

These pins are presented in 5-year increments (15, 20, 25, etc.) and the council provides them at no cost beginning at 15 years. Cookie Program Reminder
|
Girl Scouts have adapted their marketing to the digital age, using online platforms not only to reconnect with past customers but also to find new ones. However, when engaging in digital marketing, it’s important for Girl Scouts and their caregivers to follow the Internet Safety Pledge and Girl Scout Digital Cookie Pledge they accepted when setting up their Digital Cookie account.
Additional Guidelines Per the Girl Scout Digital Cookie Pledge, Girl Scouts and caregivers should not share Digital Cookie links on public sites like Facebook Marketplace, Facebook groups, Craigslist, or eBay. If the product program team is notified of a Girl Scout or caregiver not following the terms of the pledge, the product program team will remind the caregiver of their acceptance of the pledge and their responsibilities of following those terms of the pledge and ask for the post to be removed within 24 hours. Failure to comply may result in the Digital Cookie link being disabled.
It is fine to post about a Girl Scout’s cookie business or a troop booth location on public forums, as long as no link is included. Always be mindful of the risks when posting publicly or accepting orders from strangers.
