Activity Accident Insurance Enhancement
|
GSUSA is pleased to announce an important coverage enhancement to Girl Scouts Activity Accident insurance with Mutual of Omaha which is effective on October 1, 2023. GSUSA and Mutual of Omaha have expanded the automatic coverage under Basic Plan 1 for Girl Scouts to include all invited non-member participants and domestic travel trips, without a time limit. This enhancement is expected to reduce costs to troops and minimize a distracting administrative burden for council staff and volunteers.

Property
|
Camp NOARK, Burnham Woods and Radford House rental rates have increased for the MY24 membership year. An assessment of rental rates was recently completed and included a comparison to similar campsites in our regions, such as Devil’s Den, West Fork, Hobbs State Park, Withrow Springs and local, faith-based camps.
As you may remember, a special initiative was introduced last year to encourage more foot traffic at primitive camping sites such as Enchanted Hollow, Daisy Patch and the Cookie Cabins that dropped rates well below the market. While this initiative has ended, we hope you can plan a visit to see all the recent property improvements!
Following this assessment and some much-needed costly property expenditures that added new accommodation offerings and amenities, we decided to move our full rates closer to the regional market, with Girl Scout members still receiving a 50% discount.
Please visit our website to plan your next visit. Or email info@girlscoutsdiamonds.org for help with booking.
