Cardboard Boat Regatta

Cardboard Boat Regatta is on the horizon! Girl Scouts will work to design and construct boats using only duct tape and cardboard. Then race to the soggy finish on Lake Dardanelle. Participants are allowed to bring their own extra stock of cardboard and duct tape. Other activity offerings will include state park programming. Camp out with us October 6–8 or sign up for the Saturday-only event. Camping will take place in a group campsite (bring your tent). This is not a drop-off event. Participate as a troop, individual Girl Scout, or family! Families are welcome to register and join us. Girl Scouts must be renewed for the 2024 membership year by Sept 30 to attend. All individuals must be registered to attend, including chaperones, volunteers, caregivers, etc. Register by Friday, Sept. 29

Are you a newer Girl Scout leader looking to learn more about Girl Scout programming, traditions and working with your troop? Join us for a fun and informative day at one of multiple location offerings. We will touch on meeting basics, traditions and ceremonies, team building, and engagement with the great outdoors. Bring a sack lunch and we will provide snacks and drinks.

Volunteer Trainings
|
Adult & Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED training and Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) trainings are available for registration. Please note that trainings typically have a registration deadline two weeks prior to the training and require a minimum number of participants to take place. Register early to save your spot and share with your volunteer friends! Please note that Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors who are 11 years old and older can register for CPR trainings.

Exchange Student Scholarship

Attention older Girl Scouts! Do you want to spend a year abroad in Germany through a fully funded Department of State Scholarship? CIEE (The council on International Educational Exchange) is looking for motivated, curious teenage leaders who want to experience a different culture and learn a language through a full immersion experience. Students who are U.S. Citizens born between February 1, 2006 and August 1, 2009, with a GPA of 2.5 or higher are eligible to apply. Check the “Quick Facts” sheet for additional information and apply here by November 1, 2023. This program is not affiliated with Girl Scouts - Diamonds.

The 2024 Fall Product Program has begun!
|
“Own Your Magic” as you participate in the 2024 Fall Product Program. Girl Scout participation helps earn funds to support troop activities, experiences, and service projects at the beginning of the Girl Scout year. The Fall Product Program also helps Girl Scouts develop five key entrepreneurial skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics.
Reminder! Troops must participate in both council-sponsored product programs, Fall Product Program and Cookie Program, to be eligible for additional money-earning activities.
