Don't Miss Out—Renew Tomorrow, April 1, to Unlock Exclusive Incentives!
|
This is your friendly reminder that the $20 rebate offer is a one-day-only opportunity on April 1—but your troop can lock it in early by submitting your forms by today, March 31!
✅ Submit your completed Commitment Form (preferred) by March 31, and we’ll handle your troop’s renewals. You’ll still receive the rebate, even if processing takes an extra day or two. Troops may also choose to renew online on April 1, but submitting the form helps avoid any potential website issues when renewals open.
👉 Why renew as a troop? Rebates go directly to the troop account, not individual members—so renewing together gives your troop more funds to fuel next year’s adventures. Even if some families prefer to pay for their renewals, we strongly encourage leaders to use troop funds to renew everyone and earn the full rebate.
💚 Financial Assistance Reminder If a girl requests financial assistance, a Scoutership Form must be submitted along with the Commitment Form for the troop to receive the rebate and for the family to qualify for a discount. (The troop will receive the full $20 rebate even if a Scoutership is applied.)
2025–2026 Scoutership Rates, based on household income: • $0–$25K: 75% off • $25K–$75K: 50% off • $75K: 25% off Uniform discounts still apply (sash included; vest discounted).
To Secure Your Rebate Email your forms to Lexi Baxton at membership1@girlscouts-gssi.org by March 31. GSSI will contact you for payment and complete the renewal. Everyone on the form will receive the rebate—even if it takes an extra day or two to process.
Important Notes: • Girls who earned their membership through the Cookie Program and adult Lifetime Members who renew their troop role qualify for all early renewal incentives except the $20 rebate. • Rebates will be issued starting in May, either by direct deposit (for German American troop accounts) or as a check to the troop.
✨ Don’t forget—renewing early makes your troop eligible for even more exclusive incentives to kickstart the new year with excitement.

New Simplified Process for Submitting Finance Reports
|
GSSI has streamlined the Troop/Group Finance Report to make financial documentation easier for our volunteers! The new process allows you to submit your information online through a direct link, replacing the previous paper forms. In place of a detailed transaction register, you will now provide an overview of how your funds were used during the membership year.
Please upload the following documents to the online Finance Report form: •Monthly bank statements from the past 12 months; troops/groups with accounts at German American Bank may skip this step •Receipts for purchases of $200 or more •Receipts for reimbursement transactions
Finance Report Deadlines: •Troops: May 31 •Day Camps: July 31 •Service Units: August 31
We hope this updated financial process enhances your volunteer experience! If you have any questions regarding Finance Reports, please contact support@girlscouts-gssi.org.
