We have important and time-sensitive information for you regarding Digital Cookie.
Initial Order Submissions
We were informed of an error that is preventing certain caregivers from submitting their initial order in Digital Cookie. While this is not affecting all users, those who are impacted are seeing a message that they are past the submission deadline. We have been in contact with GSUSA and ABC Bakers to have this resolved promptly. Since the caregiver deadline was set for tonight at midnight, we will likely not see a fix before this deadline. Those who have been impacted should communicate directly with their cookie managers so orders can be input manually into Smart Cookies.
Troop users will still have access to add these orders until midnight on Monday, January 29. As a reminder for those who still have access to enter their Initial Order in Digital Cookie, no packages should be entered under the gluten-free variety. If gluten-free packages are mistakenly entered, ABC will remove them on their side, and this could potentially affect girl rewards. Gluten-free cookies that were pre-ordered in October 2023 will be honored at the troop level.
Each year, we ask Cookie Managers to review each order. Given the newness of this platform, Cookie Managers must confirm orders with caregivers before their submission, as they are financially responsible for all cookies ordered. Troop cookie managers will be able to edit orders, if necessary, until Monday, January 29, and at the service unit level, orders can be edited until Tuesday, January 30.
Smart Cookies Reports
We reported that ABC had resolved the issue of the Initial Order showing more packages in Smart Cookies than in Digital Cookie. Some users are experiencing that reports are not yet updated. There is a simple fix to this; users just need to click save on their Smart Cookies initial order, and reports will reflect accurate totals immediately.
