We’re excited to share that property reservations for the 2025–2026 Girl Scout year (October 1, 2025–September 30, 2026) will open on Monday, August 4 at 8:00 am!
This year, we’re also introducing a new reservation system—RecDesk—to make the process even easier. With RecDesk, you’ll be able to quickly browse available properties, check availability, and reserve the perfect space for your troop. The new platform will also help us better support your needs and grow the opportunities available for Girl Scout adventures.

What is RecDesk?

RecDesk is our new, easy-to-use platform for reserving Girl Scout properties. You can browse, check availability, and book—all in one place. It also helps us improve services and expand options for your troop.
RecDesk offers:

Built-in forms, waivers, and acknowledgements

Equipment rentals and program kit booking (coming soon)

Properties available to reserve include:

Camp Fleming (including campsites, archery range, and lodge)

STEM Center+MakerSpaces in Sacramento and Modesto

Program Center Rooms

Council Cabins

Now–September 30, 2025: Continue using Doubleknot for bookings taking place in this window of time.

July 29–August 3: RecDesk site goes live on the GSHCC website to preview and create your account.

August 4 at 8:00 am: Reservations open in RecDesk for dates starting October 1, 2025, and beyond.

October 1: All reservations will fully transition to RecDesk.

New! Fleming Lodge Deposit
|
|
To promote shared access and reservation accountability, we’re piloting a refundable deposit policy for Fleming Lodge. This aims to reduce cancellations and give more groups a chance to use the space. Groups that honor their reservation and follow guidelines below will receive a full refund.

A $50 deposit is due within one week of confirmed booking.

Your deposit will be fully refunded if the lodge is used as scheduled, left clean, and checkout procedures are followed.

Cancellations made more than five weeks in advance will receive a full refund.

A Site Manager will confirm site condition at checkout.

All other properties remain free to use for members.

Fleming Lodge and Archery Range reservations will be pending staff approval (within 72 hours).

All other properties will confirm immediately upon booking.

You’ll receive an email confirmation once your reservation is finalized.
