Dear GSHCC Volunteer,
Imagine a world where every girl has the confidence, skills, and opportunities to lead. That’s the future we are building through Girl Scouts. With your support, GSHCC ensures that girls from all backgrounds have access to the mentorship, education, and experiences they need to achieve their dreams.
As you know, the Girl Scout experience provides enriching programs and hands-on experiences that equip Girl Scouts with essential skills and knowledge. Whether they're engaging in community service, managing their cookie business, working on a higher award, traveling with their troop, diving into STEM, or camping in the outdoors, each experience helps them grow in confidence and capability—preparing them to overcome challenges and shape a limitless future. These efforts come to life in powerful ways, allowing Girl Scouts to tackle real-world issues and make a lasting impact in their communities.
This spirit of leadership and innovation is deeply rooted in our history. As we celebrate Women’s History Month, we honor the trailblazing women who have paved the way for future generations. We recognize Juliette Gordon Low, who founded Girl Scouts with the belief that every girl deserves the opportunity to dream big and lead boldly. Continuing this legacy of strong leadership, I am thrilled to welcome our new adult board members—Jeanne L. Vance, Kathleen Webb, and Myel Thelen—along with Kirpa Gill, who serves as one of our three Girl Board Members. Their passion and expertise will help guide and strengthen our mission.
Thank you for guiding and inspiring the next generation to dream big and lead boldly. Your involvement with GSHCC strengthens our mission, equipping girls to become future entrepreneurs, community leaders, and changemakers. Thank you for your continued dedication. Together, we will continue to provide a space where all girls can develop the courage, confidence, and character to break barriers and build a better world.
Happy Women’s History Month!
