Valerie Lease

This month we would like to highlight Valerie Lease, from SU157 Forty Niner. Valerie has been a volunteer with Girl Scouts for over 10 years and has impacted so many lives since joining. Valerie has taken the responsibility of taking many roles on the Service Unit team, such as SU Cookie Manager, Operations Lead, and SU Representative- and many more over her tenure as a Service Unit Team member and Troop Leader. Valerie goes above and beyond for her leaders, team members, and girls. She uses her expert knowledge to guide volunteers to feel a part of something bigger and is always happy to spare time out of her busy schedule with those who want to meet to ask questions over coffee.

Capitol Bridging

Thank you for joining us for the 2024 Capitol Bridging Ceremony! The day was filled with joy and celebration as Girl Scouts walked across the iconic Tower Bridge, sharing in the spirit of camaraderie and achievement. Open to Girl Scouts of all bridging ages and their adult or troop leaders, the event was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate, reflect, and prepare for the exciting adventures ahead.
