You're invited to join GSCSA for our Annual Meeting, Volunteer Awards Luncheon, and Continuing Education.

Join us on Saturday, August 17 at Rothchild Catering and Event Center (8807 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37923), for a full day of Girl Scout activities and educational opportunities. You are welcome to attend all the sessions or choose individual sessions that interest you.
Annual Meeting
The day will kick off at 10:00am with the Annual Meeting, a yearly gathering to provide updates on council business and governance decisions made by the board of directors. The Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians Annual Meeting is open to all members. Appointed Delegates will vote on the Board of Directors and Board Development Committee slate. Check-in begins at 9:30 am. The meeting will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. You must register by August 11 to attend the Annual Meeting.

Volunteer Awards Luncheon
Immediately following the Annual Meeting we will celebrate our dedicated volunteers at the Volunteer Awards Luncheon. If you are not an award recipient, you may still attend to support your fellow volunteers. Tickets to the luncheon are $25 and you must register online by August 11. Check-in begins at 11:30am and the luncheon is from 12:00-1:00pm.

Continuing Education with Helen Ross McNabb Center
All volunteers are encouraged to come and hear a presentation from the Helen Ross McNabb Center titled "Children and Youth Mental Health Awareness and Response." This is the same presentation our Service Unit Volunteers heard in May and they highly recommended we offer this session to all volunteers. This session will begin at 1:30pm and will last until approximately 3:30pm. You must register by August 11 to attend the presentation.

Council Q&A and Pop-Up Shops
We will end the day with a Council Q&A where you will have the opportunity to speak with council staff on various topics. Some of our program partners will also be there to share information on what they have to offer. You can also shop in our pop-up GSCSA retail shop, and Kendra Scott will be on site to make custom jewelry on the spot and will donate a portion of proceeds to GSCSA.
