Volunteer Toolkit Year Plans Reset July 15
|
Volunteer Toolkit (VTK) year plans will reset for the 2024-2025 membership year next Monday, July 15, so co-leaders can start planning for the new year! The 2023-2024 year plans will be archived and accessible, but troop attendance and achievements will NOT be saved. Co-leaders can download attendance and achievement records from the "My Troop" tab before July 15.

Upcoming Service Unit Meetings
|
Service units (SUs) consist of Girl Scout members who live in the same city or county. SUs provide opportunities for volunteers to connect, share experiences, and build camaraderie through their shared commitment to the Girl Scout mission. All volunteers, regardless of volunteer role, are invited to attend SU meetings in their area.

GSSI is updating permission forms for the 2024-2025 membership year to simplify troop management procedures for our volunteers. Please hold off on asking families to complete new Annual and Cookie Permission Forms.

Voting for 2025 Cookie Recognitions
|
|
Girl voting for the 2025 Girl Scout Cookie Program ends July 19! Be sure to have your girl check out all the possibilities and pick her favorites; votes will help us determine which recognitions to offer next year.

|
Join us for a night of swimming, slides, and fun as Girl Scouts take over Burdette Park Aquatic Center! This event is for all girls entering grades K-12 in the fall and their families. Non-members are welcome, so bring a friend along for the fun! We've rented out the whole space for the evening so that you can enjoy the park with just your friends, family, and Girl Scout sisters. All girls must be accompanied by an adult for the entire event.
Registration closes this Wednesday, July 10!

Last chance to register for this adults-only event! Learn to tie-dye and create your own wearable art with Acclaim Graphics. The price includes all dyes, setup, gloves, t-shirts, and rinsing instructions to take home with you.
When: Saturday, July 27. Time slots are available at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00, with a max of 12 participants per hour.
Where: 908 N Garvin St, Evansville, IN
(Enter through the orange double doors in the parking lot.)
Cost: $10/shirt for adult sizes S-XL, $15/shirt for 2XL, and $20/shirt for 3XL and 4XL (plus a credit card processing fee per order of $2.50).
Registration closes this Friday, July 12!

All girls in grades K-12 and their families are invited to join GSSI on Saturday, September 7, at Holiday World & Splashin Safari for our Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors Fall Event presented by Alcoa Foundation. Girl Scout councils across Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio are partnering for a day of fun for the whole family, including access to both parks and exclusive Girl Scout activities throughout the day!
Tickets to this event are $60 per person and include access to Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari, a buffet lunch, a Girl Scout SWAPS session, a fun patch, and additional program activities for Girl Scouts. (Season pass holders may use their season pass for admission but will need to pay $25 for the buffet lunch and Girl Scout program activities to gain access to the event.)
Girls do not have to be Girl Scouts to attend, so be sure invite your friends!
The deadline to register is August 11, 2024.
