Initial Order Green Checkmark
|
It was brought to GSHCC's attention and we have contacted Digital Cookie to work on a platform fix to ensure that in-person orders received between the dates of January 9 and January 12 show as being included in the Initial Order from the My Order screen with a green checkmark. This does not impact the flow of in-person orders into Smart Cookies. Users are reporting and GSHCC has verified that while in-person orders between these dates don't show a green checkmark, pulling the All Order Data report in Digital Cookie and comparing it to the Troop Initial Order screen in Smart Cookies shows the in-person orders are being included.
Description: In-Person orders in Digital Cookie received between 1/9-1/12 aren't showing green checkmark. Affected Users: Digital Cookie caregivers and troop volunteers. Current Status: Fix in progress. Workaround: These orders are proven to be received by Smart Cookies. Compare All Order Data report from Digital Cookie against Troop Initial Order. There is no need to add orders again once verified against report.
Troops that see the lack of green checkmark and duplicate input of packages to fulfill orders in their Troop Initial Order are financially responsible for all inventory ordered. This information is being communicated to volunteers through the next scheduled troop and service unit email communications.

GSHCC’s Mega Drops are rain or shine. The northern site closes at 1:00 pm and the southern site at 10:00 am—no cookie distribution after these times. Troops should confirm their reservation. Inventory sheets will be provided; no Dot Sheets needed. Volunteers working the closing shift who are picking up cookies will be released 15 minutes early. Review event details on our website. Troops picking up 350+ cases will receive VIP instructions by email. Report any inventory discrepancies to Customer Care within 24 hours and bring a printed confirmation email to a Cupboard within one week of opening day to resolve them.

Booths and Alternatives to Booths
|
|
Please remind troops to review all Booth Guidelines before attending their booth sales. If troops submitted Troop Secured Booths, they would not be able to attend the booth until GSHCC has reviewed and approved the site.

Girl Delivery
|
Girls can continue to accept Girl Delivery orders through the end of the cookie program. Cookie managers will need to transfer any additional packages using Transfer Orders just as they have in previous years, even if orders are pre-paid. Girls engaging in online sales should ensure they follow all online selling guidelines. Girl Scouts can post their cookie links online except for resale pages, including but not limited to Facebook Marketplace, eBay, NextDoor for Sale, and Craigslist. Financials
|
|
An ACH pre-authorization will be processed on Thursday, January 29. This will be a one-cent deposit into troop accounts. Troops who do not have a clear pre-authorization will be contacted by GSHCC and will not be able to pick up cookies until it has been resolved.

Cookie Cupboard
|
Our Cookie Cupboard will begin opening on February 20. Hours depend on Cupboard Managers. Please remind troops that Planned Orders deadlines are Sundays at midnight, and we recommend pick-ups for Friday or later to allow time for cookie delivery. Not all Cupboards will accept Unplanned Orders.
