Cookie Cupboards
We are down to the final weeks of our sales. Certain Cupboards may be closing after this week. Please remember to contact Cupboard managers before visiting their Cupboard if you would like to verify available inventory, as quantities and varieties may be limited. We also encourage troops to utilize troop to troop transfers if they are looking for smaller package quantities. The GSHCC Modesto and Sacramento Cupboards have started accepting Unplanned Orders during open Cupboard hours, of all varieties while supplies last!
GSHCC Sacramento and Modesto Cupboard: Tues-Fri 2–6 pm, Sat 9 am–12 pm.
Troop Inventory Exchange Pilot—at select Cupboards, there will be an option to exchange inventory between March 11-16. Only full, unopened cases of cookies in sellable condition can be exchanged for other varieties. Please keep in mind that this is for exchanges only, not returns. Planned Orders will still have priority to available inventory; varieties available for exchange will vary by Cupboard. Both GSHCC Cupboards in Modesto and Sacramento, Penn Valley, Lodi, El Dorado Hills, Woodland and Sutter Creek are the Cupboards participating in this pilot.

Girl Delivery
Any inventory needed to fulfill customer orders should be transferred using a Troop to Girl transfer. Keep in mind that girls can continue to edit orders at the time of delivery and can issue refunds if necessary. The last day to accept online payments is March 16, so customers who wish to pay by card must do so by this date. Managing Orders Transfer Orders

Cookie Boss Patch Program
Through the Cookie Boss patch program, Girl Scouts can enhance their cookie business skills by reaching out to corporate customers. This opportunity allows them to complete important steps toward earning their Cookie and Financial Literacy badges, as well as the GSHCC Rose Award. By participating, Girls will gain valuable business experience and learn how to effectively connect with potential customers. Upon completing the program and submitting the Cookie Boss patch form by March 19, participants will receive a special Cookie Boss patch as a recognition of their accomplishment. Don't miss out on this exciting chance to develop key entrepreneurial skills!

Rewards
Visit our website for details on the Reward Card and Cookie Experiences. Camp registration is now open, and spots are filling up quickly. While girls don’t need to register for camp before earning their reward, those wishing to secure a spot in a specific session can register early, though families will need to pay the $25 deposit. Main Recognition Orders and Troop Recognition Orders must be submitted by March 19 by troops, regardless of the proceed plan; service units can make edits until March 23.
Please note: GSHCC cannot edit recognition orders after March 23. Please ensure the reward choices are correct by the deadline. Alternative rewards not listed on the reward card cannot be offered.

Cookie Share
Verify that any Cookie Share donations received via Girl Delivery orders after the Initial Order are entered as Virtual Cookie Share or in the Smart Booth Divider for girls to get credit for them. Run the order report in Digital Cookie to calculate any Cookie Share donations sold by each participant digitally. Those numbers need to be compared to what is in Smart Cookie and the difference put in manually in the Virtual Cookie Share tab. Troop Cookie Manager Guide, page 15
National Cookie Finder
The National Cookie Finder can be found at www.girlscoutshcc.org/cookies or www.girlscoutcookies.org. Troops links will be shown for customers to purchase cookies via Direct Ship and customers can also find local booths. Remember to distribute sales received via your Troop Link prior to creating a Main Recognition order.

Financials
If your troop’s first ACH withdrawal is returned due to insufficient funds, GSHCC will contact you, and your troop will be responsible for any NSF fees. Troops needing a one-week extension for ACH withdrawals must contact GSHCC at least three days before the scheduled withdrawal. If families owe money at the end of the program, be sure to submit a Cookie Collection Report by March 23. GSHCC will issue credit in Smart Cookies for the amount reported, ensuring your troop can access its proceeds. After submitting the collection report, your troop should not accept payments from those families, as GSHCC will handle them directly. Troop Cookie Manager Guide, pages 26-27

Inventory and Program Wrap-Up
As your troop wraps up the sale, make sure to communicate the available inventory with participants and caregivers so customers know what’s in stock. Work with other troops for troop-to-troop transfers and ensure that Girl Financial Transactions balance to zero. If any balances are off, double-check that all money is collected and the inventory is properly assigned. For negative balances, investigate if too much money was submitted or if a Girl Delivery Order needs to be resolved either by refunding the customer or transferring inventory to the correct girl.

Thanks for your amazing work in keeping girls motivated to reach their goals!
