Hurricane Helene Relief
|
|
Our Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians' Appalachian Strong campaign is still ongoing! This initiative unites our efforts to address the most urgent needs in our Girl Scout community.
The Appalachian Strong campaign consists of selling T-shirts and stickers, with all net proceeds going toward recovery efforts. The funds will be used for:
|
-
Financial assistance and scholarships for impacted families
-
Uniform, patch, and badge replacements
-
Troop and service unit supply replenishment
-
Restoration of damaged camp properties
|
If you want to make only a monetary donation to our Appalachian Strong campaign without ordering a t-shirt or sticker, you can do so online. We also have set up an Amazon Wishlist where you can purchase items to be donated for hurricane relief.

Each fall, Trefoil Society Luncheons are held in each of our Council's regions to honor a woman who exemplifies the spirit of Girl Scouting.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at a luncheon! Plus, an extra big thanks to all our sponsors for this year's luncheons.
This year's honorees were:

Returning in 2025: The Great Cookie Competition
|
|
|
The Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians launched a new campaign in 2024 called The Great Cookie Competition. Individuals representing our beloved Girl Scout Cookies, known as Cookie Competitors, earn votes by raising dollars for our council. The Cookie Competitor to earn the most votes (i.e. raise the most money), will be crowned their region’s Favorite Cookie. The goal of this campaign is to not only raise funds for our council, but also to create more buzz around Girl Scouts, championing the Girl Scout Cookie season amongst the general public!
Stay tuned to meet our 2025 Cookie Competitors!
