This Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating 113 years of Girl Scouting and the bold vision of Juliette Gordon Low, who empowered girls to break barriers and forge their own paths. Her dedication laid the foundation for a movement that continues to inspire generations of girls to lead with courage, confidence, and character.
At GSHCC, we are proud to carry on Juliette’s legacy by ensuring ALL girls have the opportunity to experience the magic of Girl Scouts. From building leadership skills and exploring STEM to adventuring outdoors and serving their communities, Girl Scouts today are shaping a better tomorrow.
This month, we invite you to honor the trailblazing women of the past by investing in the future. Your support helps provide life-changing experiences, leadership opportunities, and skill-building adventures for girls throughout our region. Together, we’re creating a brighter, girl-led future—one full of possibility and promise.
Donate today to support Girl Scouts during Women’s History Month!

Rose McIsaac
|
Rose McIsaac has been a dedicated Girl Scout Leader for 14 years and the Operations Lead for her Service Unit Team for the past five. She guided her troop from kindergarten through high school, with all 10 girls earning their Bronze and Silver Awards and one achieving Gold. Passionate about keeping older girls engaged, Rose has organized activities that challenge them both physically and mentally. She spearheaded a kayaking trip and introduced new event ideas to her team monthly. She has also helped younger girls plan activities, supported charity drives—including one for Paradise wildfire victims—and connected her Service Unit with opportunities like Girl Surfs Curl. Even after her daughters bridged to Adults, Rose continues to devote countless volunteer hours, fostering a supportive, fun, and ethical Girl Scout experience for all.
