2024 Fall Product Program
|
|
During the Fall Product Program, girls sell magazine subscriptions, nuts, and candy to family and friends. This program gives girls a chance to earn funds for their Girl Scout troop and fun rewards for themselves, all while learning important life skills. The 2024 program will run Sept. 20-Oct. 23.
Remember: Girls must be renewed for MY25 in order to participate in Fall Product!
Reminder: The deadline to submit 2024 Mystery Adventure requests is Sept. 30, 2024. Submit requests here.
This year's Fall Product Program Mascot is the Asian Elephant. Vote to name her through Sept. 8!

Each fall, our council hosts a Trefoil Society Luncheon in each of our regions to honor a woman who exemplifies the spirit of Girl Scouting. These luncheons are a chance for our donors, community leaders, members, and alums to get together and celebrate Girl Scouting while also raising funds for its future.
• Appalachian Highlands – Sept. 12 • East Tennessee – Oct. 3 • Tennessee Valley & North Georgia – Nov. 6
Tickets are now available for all three 2024 Luncheons.

Leaders, give your girls a taste of the Girl Scout Museum with our introductory program tote, available to check out through the Knoxville shop. These totes are especially useful for Daisy and Brownie troops who might have issues getting all their girls to the Museum.
There are pictures of museum exhibits, a variety of uniforms for the girls to see, a couple of early Brownie books to compare to their own, some old-timey games, and ropes for practicing knot-tying. Add song books and a music CD to learn songs, and you have enough materials for one or even two meetings!
Information on program totes and other rental items available can be found on the Museum page on the Council website.

|
Cadettes, Seniors, or Ambassadors who are working on a community service, take action project, or High Award can apply for a Joyce Maienschein Leadership Grant to help make their dream a reality. Not only can the girls receive funding for up to $500, but they gain life skills like writing, budgeting, organization, and teamwork. It's a win-win!

Troop 20507 toured the Sevierville Fire Department and got to meet the firehouse dog, Ember. The girls tried on a fireman’s jacket, watched a firefighter put on the gear, touched the truck, did a lesson about fire safety, completed coloring sheets featuring both women and men firefighters, and used grid sheets to plan an escape in the event of a house fire. At the end of the day, the girls received Sevierville Fire Department patches and a little goody bag with school supplies and sunglasses.
The troop also donated a case of Girl Scout S’mores to the fire department, as well as a few stuffed animals for kids that experience a house fire.
Share your stories and photos with us at socialmedia@girlscoutcsa.org. Please include a brief description (including date/location) of the event and/or project depicted, as well as the troop number(s).
