We’re thrilled to introduce our new Body Appreciation badge line for every grade level, from Daisies to Ambassadors! Whether they’re wiggling, dancing, laughing, or learning to set healthy boundaries, these fun, age-appropriate activities help girls celebrate what their bodies can do and embrace who they are—inside and out. Through these experiences, girls will build lifelong habits that support emotional and physical well-being, while also developing confidence, self-respect, and a culture of kindness.

Native American Heritage Month | November

Join us for a Weekend of Workshops inspiration, connection, and fun at beautiful Camp Fleming! This year’s theme is Believe in Magic—whether it’s magical powers, the wonders of science and nature, or the sparkle in a child’s eyes as they learn something new. Connect with fellow Girl Scout adults, enjoy downtime to finish projects, and discover the latest in Girl Scouting and GSHCC. Learn tips and tricks from staff and experienced volunteers while enjoying a flexible, fun-filled weekend. Multiple options are available to fit your schedule—don’t miss the magic!

Wild Weekend | November 14-16

Join us for a Wild Weekend—an overnight getaway packed with fun and adventure! Participants will stay overnight in the lodge and, during the day, enjoy exciting outdoor activities that align with the Naturalist badge requirements for each Girl Scout level (Grades 2–12), all while building friendships and confidence in the outdoors. This is an in-person event located in Somerset.

We’re excited to recognize Angelise Marcigliano, leader of Brownie Troop 342, part of Service Unit 121, for her outstanding initiative in organizing Girl Scout Night with the Sacramento River Cats. From planning and logistics to securing the partnership, Angelise created a night of fun, connection, and team spirit for girls, families, and volunteers. Her leadership strengthened community ties, showcased the impact of Girl Scouting—making the event a memorable celebration of teamwork and Girl Scout spirit. Thank you, Angelise!

The Fall Product Program ends on Sunday, October 19! Caregivers must enter paper orders by Sunday, October 19, and reward selections are due to your troop volunteers by Wednesday, October 22. Reminder: Product deliveries will be received by your service unit. Please plan to distribute items to your customers by Wednesday, November 26.
Girls who reach $900 in Fall Product sales will earn a chaperoned trip to the Folsom Zoo! Explore the amazing animals at the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary, where the Friends of the Folsom Zoo, Inc., work to protect and enrich their lives. Among the Zoo’s incredible residents are black bears, California’s other native bear, the grizzly, is now extinct, but black bears are thriving—meet some of the Zoo’s favorites, Henry and Olive!
