We are officially in booth season, and we have eighteen days left in the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Program. Remember to meet all end of program deadlines so your service unit can wrap up the sale successfully. We appreciate all the encouragement you provide for troops and Girl Scouts in your service unit.

Booths
Please review any special booth instructions in Smart Cookies by going to Troop Reservations, clicking the three dots next to a booth, and selecting Booth Details. Cookie managers must ensure all participating girls and families understand the Booth Sale Guidelines. Troop-secured booths must be approved in Smart Cookies before hosting. All booth sales—including credit card sales—must be recorded using the Smart Booth Divider. Inventory will only be credited to girls when transferred as booth packages, ensuring proper sales credit and avoiding financial responsibility being assigned to girls. Booth Sale Worksheet
Girls can accept contactless credit card payments at booths using the Digital Cookie app once the troop site is set up by the troop cookie manager. Payments are credited directly to the troop. Girls should select their troop from the drop-down menu when signing in. For help, refer to the Mobile App tip sheet.

Alternatives to Booths
Girl Scouts are still able to host Cookie Stands on personal property without prior approval, but they must follow all booth guidelines. Remind troops that booths and in-person selling are limited to council boundaries.

Cookie Cupboard
We’re in the final weeks of sales. Some Cupboards may close early based on Planned Orders, so troops should contact Cupboard managers before visiting for Unplanned Orders to confirm inventory and availability.
The GSHCC Modesto and Sacramento Cupboards are open Tuesday–Friday from 2–6pm and Saturday 9am–2pm and are accepting Unplanned Orders.

Girl Delivery
Girls should communicate delivery timelines, mark orders as delivered once completed, and use Troop to Girl transfers for inventory. Customers receive an email when orders are marked delivered. Orders can be edited or refunded at delivery. Online card payments must be completed by March 15. Managing Orders Transfer Orders Troop Refunding Orders

Visit our website for details on the Reward Card and Cookie Reward Experiences. Camp registration opens in March—registration is not required before earning the reward, but families may register early by paying the $25 deposit. Main and Troop Recognition Orders are due March 18, with Service Unit changes due by March 22. After submission, no changes can be made. Main Recognition Order Troop Recognition Order

Cookie Share
Girl Scouts may accept Cookie Share donations throughout the sale. Booth donations must be entered in the Smart Booth Divider to credit the troop/girls. Donations collected through other selling methods (excluding Donation Only via Digital Cookie) should be entered by the cookie manager in the Virtual Cookie Share tab. Cookie Share Cookie Share Info

Financials
Troops with returned ACH payments will be contacted by GSHCC and are responsible for NSF fees. Requests for a one-week ACH extension must be made at least three days in advance. Outstanding balances require a Cookie Collection Report by March 22; GSHCC will issue Smart Cookies credit and handle further collection directly. Program Wrap-up
