The 2024 Girl Scout Cookie Program has officially come to an end! We appreciate all of your support this cookie season. Local Girl Scouts did a fantastic job meeting and exceeding their goals. We are excited to deliver cookie experiences for girls this summer.

*The Digital Cookie and Smart Cookies IT made us aware of a delay in financial transactions processed on March 16-17. Due to that, we moved this week’s ACH withdrawal to Friday, March 22 and adjusted the withdrawal amount to 50% of the balance due. All transactions should now be reflecting in Smart Cookies.

Inventory and Program Wrap-Up
|
Review your Smart Cookies dashboard for any action items. It is important to review inventory, financials, and reward selections as part of your program wrap-up. If your troop has negative inventory, this means more inventory was transferred to girls than what was received. If you have negative inventory, please ensure all transfer orders are correct in Smart Cookies. We recommend transferring out all packages listed as Troop On Hand Inventory to participating girls to maximize rewards earned, but this is not required.

Remember to check for Troop Direct Ship orders that are pending distribution, if any, and transfer to participating girls.

Cookie Share
|
Verify that any Cookie Share donations received via Girl Delivery orders after the Initial Order are entered as Virtual Cookie Share or in the Smart Booth Divider in order for girls to get credit for them. Run the order report in Digital Cookie to calculate any Cookie Share donations sold by each participant digitally. Those numbers need to be compared to what is in Smart Cookies and the difference put in manually in the Virtual Cookie Share tab.
The Cookie Share patch and boost bars will show in the “Extras” section of the Main Recognition Order. All Cookie Share rewards can be earned on the Older Girl opt-out plan.

Rewards
|
All troops are required to complete Main and Troop Recognition Orders, regardless of proceed plan selected, as this is how rewards are ordered. Remember to collect reward choices and sizes from girls in your troop as needed.
Camp Voucher - Families can reserve a spot at camp before earning the Camp Voucher but they will be responsible for the $25 deposit.
Troop Treasure - Troop Treasure is earned with a minimum PGA of 250. Troops with an outstanding balance due are not eligible to earn or use Troop Treasure. All troops must create a Troop Recognition Order to receive Troop Treasure if earned.

Financials
|
Troops are responsible for ensuring that funds are deposited into troop accounts in time for ACH withdrawals, even if they do not receive an ACH reminder email. Please contact GSHCC no later than three days prior to the withdrawal if your troop needs a one-week ACH extension. Requests must be sent to customercare@girlscoutshcc.org and must include your name, troop number, and reason for the request. Troops with returned ACH payments will be responsible for any and all fees incurred due to insufficient funds if no ACH extension is requested by the deadline. Returned payments will show on your Troop Balance Summary Reports.
Troops should also verify if girls have a zero balance due. If girls have a negative balance, verify all Transfers Orders have been completed or refund customers if necessary. Troops should not use troop proceeds to pay girl balances due and are highly encouraged to fill out a Cookie Collection Report, if necessary, as this is the only way GSHCC is able to help recover funds due. Once a collection form is filled out, GSHCC will issue a credit to your troop account in Smart Cookies for that amount and we will work with families to recover funds. Do not accept payment from families once a form is filled out as families will need to resolve with GSHCC directly.
