Introducing Cookie Crumbs, Badgerland’s new and improved way of training. This year, we have broken down our training into bite-sized pieces. How does it work? Get your "ingredients": a list of tip sheets and videos we will address on this call. Learn at your own pace and come prepared with any questions you have! BONUS: All volunteers who attend one of the troop trainings will receive the 2025 Volunteer Patch! Limit 1 per person.

Update your Troops information under the My Troop tab. Check the Proceed Plan, Main Recognition Plan, and Troop Recognition plan are correct. Also verify that your Troops bank account is correct.
Check your Troop Roster under the My Troop tab. Reach out to Customer Care at info@gsbadgerland.org with the name of the Girl Scout missing. ONLY Girl Scouts with current memberships were uploaded. Please complete no later than January 28 to ensure Girl Scouts are uploaded into Digital Cookie properly.

Troops Using Venmo or PayPal for Cookie Payments
|
|
Follow these guidelines if your troop uses Venmo or PayPal for accepting payments during cookie season:
|
|

The account must be linked to the Council’s Federal Tax ID and the troop’s bank account.
-
The account may not be linked to a volunteer's or parent's Social Security number.
-
Any payments accepted via Venmo or PayPal (excluding Digital Cookie transactions) must be marked as a “Friends and Family” transaction.
-
If $5,000 or more is collected in a personal Venmo or PayPal account, it will result in tax implications for the account owner.

New this year: Digital Cookie will accept Venmo and Paypal as forms of payment in the app for customers purchasing cookies. With this new feature, troops shouldn’t need to create their own accounts.
|

Retail Reminders
|
Both Madison and LaCrosse Sashay locations are open the first Saturday of each month from 9-2.
Starting February 2 Madison Sashay hours for the month of February will be Thursday’s Noon - 6.
We also know that you are gearing up for the cookie sale, so we are offering free shipping for the month of February on all orders placed at shopgsbadgerland.org. This is a great opportunity to purchase a uniform, and have it shipped to your door, so you have it for your upcoming cookie booths!
