ACH Withdrawal #1
|
March 12: Watch for an email regarding the amount that will be pulled from the troops account on March 19.
There was a misprint on some of our materials this year. The correct amount for withdrawal #1 is 40%.

Gluten Free Cookies
|
We do not have any more gluten free cookies available at the council, and we are unable to get more from our baker. If you do not have gluten free on hand, you likely won't be able to get them.
Order-Taking Troops
For troops doing an order-taking sale that did not have an Initial Pick-Up order, you will NOT be able to get gluten-free cookies in your Planned Orders. Please make sure all of your troop families have followed the guidelines below to turn off GF for Girl Delivery in their Digital Cookies account.
If you are in need of gluten free cookies, reach out to other troops in your area.
Turn Off Gluten Free for Girl Delivery
You can do this by going to the My Cookies tab on Digital Cookie, and switch the button to "off". Click "Update Delivery" to confirm the setting. You can turn this back on at any time if you are able to get more.

Next Week - Heat Warning
|
It's heating up in Badgerland! While we're very excited to stop freezing our cookies off at booths, cookies left in cars may get too warm.
Temperatures next week will reach 60 degrees. Avoid leaving cookies in vehicles or other locations where they may too too hot and begin to melt. Especially the cookies that include chocolate.

Troop Leader Support Hour: Cookie Edition!

Special lunchtime “Troop Leader Support Hours” in March and April will be open to all Cookie Sale adult participants: troop leaders, cookie sale volunteers, and parents! Drop in any time during this session to get your Cookie Sale questions answered. Run by Nicki Handel from the Volunteer Experience Team, we’ll be featuring special guest, Sally Egan, Badgerland’s Director of Entrepreneurial Experience. Bring your questions on anything Cookie Sale related from ABC Smart Cookies & Digital Cookies to Cookie Shares and beyond!

March 22 & 23 - Cookie Returns in Madison, La Crosse & Janesville.
March 23 - Order-Taking Troops: Planned Order due in Smart Cookies by 10 p.m. for pick up March 28-29.
March 23 - Cookie Conversations online via Zoom.
March 28 & 29 - Order-Taking Troops: Pick up cookies from Cookie Cupboard. Distribute cookies to Girl Scouts.
March 30 - Consignment Planned Orders allowed through the April 6 planned order.

Throughout the sale, stay in touch with families and redistribute cookies as needed to balance inventory among troop members. This will help minimize your need to do a Planned Order or find yourself with too many cookies to be able to return during the upcoming Return Dates.
